new donor portal

Posted on: October 6th, 2020 by Susan

The COVID-19 pandemic has created difficulties for many organizations, which makes it necessary to ask for help from our community members to help offset the decrease in financial resources.

To make giving as easy as possible,
we have added a new donation form to our website for those wishing to donate by credit card or ACH transaction (direct transfer from a checking account). Our form has suggested amounts, or donors can type in a custom amount if they wish.

And to maximize your donation dollars (through a partnership with Give Lively and integration with Stripe), we were able to receive lower processing fees of 2.2% + $.30 per transaction for Mastercard, Visa, and Discover; 3.5% for American Express. ACH transactions have even lower fees (.08%).

This is great news for donors, and especially for organizations, who have been paying processing/admin fees as high as 6.9% of each donation through other online giving sites.

Please consider a generous gift to help the Stevens County DAC continue to provide services to the developmentally disabled residents in our community. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated!
